Plans

Each plan comes with a monthly allowance of credits. What you can use also depends on the plan:

Top-ups

If you run out before the month ends, you will be able to buy more credits once payments open.

Until then, when your credits run out, anything that costs credits is refused until your next monthly allowance arrives. Plan credits left at the end of a period don't carry over. Top-up credits never expire, and are used after your plan credits.

Your Billing page also has Usage history, what used credits in the last 30 days with totals by action, and Payments and invoices.

What costs what

Credits are used when the app does work for you. Reading your sources with the Local parser, and indexing them for search, cost nothing.

A few things follow from this:

• A 20-page PDF costs nothing with the Local parser, or 40 credits with the Cloud parser.
• Standard models cost 1 credit per chat message; premium models cost 5.
• Auto picks a standard model. A premium model is used only when you choose one, or when no standard model is available.
• Each task in an automation run costs the same as one chat message on its model.
• Reading email costs nothing beyond the chat message or automation step, except that each image attachment counts as one vision image.
• A Studio output costs the same whatever length you choose.

Research and scraping

Searching for new sources and reading web pages also use credits:

• Searching Web uses the site's own search engine first, which is free; Google Search runs only when it finds nothing.
• Academic searches (PubMed, arXiv, medRxiv / bioRxiv and Google Scholar) are free.
• Exa and Tavily use the workspace's own API key, not credits.
• The same prices apply to scrapers run by agents.

A search or page that couldn't run costs nothing. Exa and Tavily searches in Search the web for new sources use the workspace's own key and cost no credits.

Paying

Payments will be in cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, or USDT on the Tron or Polygon networks, paid on a secure checkout page. A plan is paid ahead for 1, 3 or 12 months (longer periods can carry a discount) and does not renew on its own; buy more months whenever you like. Credit packs are a single payment. Card payments are not offered yet. Until payments open, the Billing page says so and shows no buy buttons.
